There are tons of different workout exercises & routines in books and online. Which is number-one? What results do you want? The routines I've gathered below are the best ones I've found in my training.

I like this because I don't have to think about it too hard, and I have this almost indecent love of moving large chunks of metal around :-). Lifts like the squat, press, and deadlift leave no room for weakness in your body! A Beginning Fitness Program A fitness training program combines strength training and cardio work. Strength isn't much good if you're too tired to use it - this program gives you the endurance. It's a combo of the basic weight lifting program and aerobic exercise. You won't get as tired playing your sports, and you'll be able to use the strength you build more effectively. Bodybuilding Routines That Work - Arnold's Choice for Beginners The idea with these workouts is simple - get BIG AND STRONG! Increasing muscle size and weight is great for tons of sports. This program is a basic bodybuilding program that, well, builds you body. If you want bigger muscles this is your ticket, but be warned - it ain't for the faint of heart. 20 Rep Squats The ultimate in body enlarging and strengthening! A routine that will strain your legs and make your entire body bigger. This 6-9 week program is intense and should not be used often. However, it will really give a boost, making your legs and entire body bigger - & with more endurance.  HIIT Training You want endurance? Check this out! High intensity interval training (HIIT) is a great new twist on aerobics that doesn't mean spending hours on a treadmill - just some creative and intense workout exercises. Basically it's a short, brutal workout. When I've done them they are really brutal. Like, hacking-up-your-lungs-and-collapsing-in-a-sweaty-heap-brutal. But you get your running for the day done in just 15 minutes! Free Strength Training Logs Strength training logs are important for making continual progress in your training. They keep your efforts going in the right direction, even though they can be a pain in the rear. These free logs can be easily downloaded for your own use. It's simple, but just keeping them will show you how well (or not) your strength training is going.
