Kettlbells - No Pain No Gain!

I have worked out for over fifteen years and have always thought I was in pretty good shape. I worked out most days for one hour, Occasionally 90 minutes a day. My workout of choice was either the treadmill or the elliptical machine.

I took my first Kettlbell class a month ago and I realized that I was not in the shape I thought I was! That first class really showed me what a work-out is about. You could tell that you were really getting a good workout and that many muscles I had not used since who knows when were getting used again.

I left that first class in a bit of shock, I guess it was not what I expected, I am not sure what I expected but that was not it. My sister and I had made out minds up before walking out the door that we would be back for another class. Granted I could barely move the next day, my legs wobbled and I could barely get my own shirt off but I knew I loved it!

I have continued to take the Kettlbell class ever since and I think my body is getting use to the workout now because I can now walk the next day. I love Kettlbells and the workout that goes along with them. If you think you are in shape all you have to do is take a Kettlbell class to know for sure! Best workout I have had in 15 years.
