Dropping Weight & Changing My Life

Over the past three years I gained 47 pounds. It feels like I woke up one morning and was so much heavier than I had ever imagined I could be.

It all started shortly after losing my job a month away from Christmas and my birthday. I was devastated! I had never not worked and now I was out of a job with no savings right before the holidays.

Because I was depressed, I kept eating and eating and eating. It made me feel better, happy. Next thing I knew, I was way over weight. I did some research online to try to find diet tips and workout videos. Going to the gym and risking been seen by people who knew me was the last thing I wanted to do.

I ended up reading some great reviews on a Jillian Michaels workout dvd so I ordered it. It was the absolute best thing I could have done for myself. Not only was the weight leaving my body quickly, but I was feeling better about myself. My confidence had never been so high and I was developing muscle tone and had never had defined muscles in my life!

I ended up losing all 47 pounds I had gained and an additional 21 pounds. If I hadn’t found this video, I probably wouldn’t have gotten the motivation to workout other wise. There was just no way I was going to go to the gym looking the way I did. I wasn’t happy with myself. Being able to workout in the comfort and privacy of my own home made me feel a lot less self-conscious. Jillian Michaels changed my life and I’m so grateful that videos like hers are available for home use.
